- 400 g (14 oz) silken or soft tofu
- 100 g (3 1/2 oz) fresh garlic chives (or scallions)
- 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste

- Cut the tofu into slices about 1 cm (1/2 inch) thick, sprinkle lightly with salt, and let stand for 5 minutes to draw out excess water.
- Wash the chives and cut into short lengths. Place in a bowl with the gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and garlic, and mix well.
- Arrange the tofu slices on a plate, spoon the chive sauce evenly over the top, and serve.
Tips
- Adjust the amount of gochujang to your preferred heat level.
- For extra crunch and aroma, sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the dish just before serving.
